TSIRA MAPPING: The Structure behind the Therapeutic Spiral Model™
Presented by: Dr. Steven Durost, TSM Trainer Level I, PhD, REAT, LCMHC, and Ina Hogenboom, Registered Psychologist, TEP
The Trauma Survivors Internal Role Atom (TSIRA) is often referred to as “the map” for TSM work. Building on this metaphor, Steven and Ina will work with participants to enhance their understanding of the three-strand structure of TSM (Strengths, Trauma, Post-traumatic Growth). Each concept will build on the session before to enhance an understanding of TSM as a whole and how to apply that understanding to foster healing for everyone involved in a drama. Focus will be on working with an individual protagonist while also attending to the strengths, trauma, growth, and needs of the group as a whole. This concept of the “group brain”, of seeing the group as its own protagonist, will be explored, developed and expanded. Participants will learn how to view, map, and code TSM dramas; revealing the structure under this healing process.
Each workshop builds upon the preceding one, so participants should plan to attend all four. The workshop will count as 8 hours of credit toward required hours for the Level 1 Course: “Containment – The Key to Safety with Action Methods.”
This four-part workshop will meet on:
Wednesdays from 9am to 11am EST (USA).
Dates: April 29, May 6, & May 13 and 20.
Minimum of 4 and maximum of 12
Cost: US$100 for all 4, two-hour sessions.
