Join Dr. Kate and the TSM Senior Trainers for an action anticipation of our time together, using Playback Theatre (Roni Alperin conducting) and other magical devices. Enjoy a sampling of Croatian hors d’oeuvres before heading out to dinner with old or new friends. Dress up or dress down – the choice is yours.

10:00 AM – 1:00 PM – Celebrating Post-traumatic Growth with TSM Psychodrama – w/ Kate Hudgins & Steven Durost
This workshop will bring our community together to celebrate personal and professional successes from our work with TSM. Dr. Kate, supported by Dr. Steven, will direct a simultaneous protagonist drama with the entire group to touch off our connections to each other as we build our Autonomous Healing Centers.

The practice of gratitude has been demonstrated to have a regulating effect on our nervous systems and our lives. Through role reversal with our Compassionate Witness (a cousin of the TSIRA role of the Observing Ego), we move into this International Symposium with a grounded sense of clarity and purpose.

In this diverse and tense multicultural universe, TSM trainers may find themselves unaware of cultural dynamics that impact a group, positively and negatively. Karen and Steven share their experiences while teaching internationally on how to adapt and employ TSM psychodrama structures to increase intercultural safety online and in person.

This workshop will have participants exploring various internal roles (parts of self) as part of the Game Plan coaching model in a fun, creative way, identifying and eventually overcoming their “opponents,” and a visit to the Restoration Garden.

The TSM game is being developed to be played both fact to face and electronically as a video game. It targets mainly children and adolescents but can be played by adults who are aware of the child within themselves.

In this workshop, we first will attune all group members to the central theme through sociometry. Then the entire group participates in carrying the projective identifications and returning them to the protagonist.
