This workshop will both teach and explore compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout in the helping professions (therapists, activists, educators, lawyers, nurses, doctors, etc). Using TSM psychodrama, we will build up the strengths needed to transform compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout. This workshop will primarily focus on professional training, however it will also provide opportunities for personal growth and self-care. Each presenter brings with them knowledge and practice wisdom from their respective professions (social work & trauma; public health & spirituality; nursing & eastern medicine).

6 CEU’s available for PA social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors. Training hours are also provided towards certification in experiential therapy (CET); and certification in sociometry, psychodrama, and group psychotherapy (CP).
